Working with Gawker Media, HP, Southern Comfort, and Unilever, my team and I produced Hush, an over-the-top silent disco event featuring Das Racist and Yeasayer. From event art direction to security staffing, the entire production was produced by our small team.

Environment is everything. So where better to hold a silent disco than the New York Public Library's distinguished Celeste Bartos Forum in Midtown Manhattan.

Upon arrival, ushers distributed wireless headphones to guests that carried music directly from our live talent to them.

Large screen visualizations were created in-house to accompany the music. We also incorporated a Twitter feed that would display the tweets from guests with the hashtag #bestnightever.

Event guests were engaged by the newest breed of HP laptops which were displayed and demo ready. All DJs performing that evening further represented the brand by using HP laptops throughout their performances.

A specialty cocktail menu featuring spirits exclusively from Southern Comfort kept the party rolling.

We collaborated with Unilever and the photo booth experts at The Bosco to engage guests in group party photos that could be printed and shared via social media. See the video from The Bosco below for the results.

The event was a huge success for all involved. High praises, photos and articles were seen in many media channels:
