Hello, I'm Mike. I am a Los Angeles-based Senior Art Director and Graphic Designer with over a decade of combined agency and in-house experience. I specialize in conceptualizing, designing, and leading teams to produce engaging advertising experiences and marketing materials for inspiring brands. I believe great leadership and authentic culture in the workplace come from being in tune with your team, your company, and the world.
Prior to my most recent role as Art Director at Amazon's Brand Innovation Lab, I gained years of experience working in both Los Angeles and New York City at agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Redbird and SS+K. I've also worked in-house at tech industry leaders such as Zillow, Trulia, StreetEasy, Greenfly, Brainly and Firefly Systems.
Other fun facts: I'm a magna cum laude graduate of VCU in Richmond, VA, where I hold dual B.S. degrees in Creative Advertising and Strategic Advertising. I've toured the country with a band. Worked as a surfboard salesman in a little beach town. Had some of my photography published. Even made several appearances in a Steven Spielberg film.
